The 18th edition of the Music Gardens Festival will take place from June 30 – July 31 in Warsaw. The Music Gardens Festival, often referred to as the Warsaw Summer Music Salon, has been held since 2001. It features 30 artistic events each year, including concerts, film screenings and opera and ballet performances. This year’s program features predominately Polish music, including works by Fryderyk Chopin, Aleksander Tansman and Zygmunt Krauze. The final concert will be devoted entirely to Polish contemporary music. The Sinfonia Viva orchestra led by Tomasz Radziwonowicz will perform Rhapsod by Zygmunt Krauze, Mandragora by Karol Szymanowski, Music for strings, trumpets and percussions by Grażyna Bacewicz and Orawa by Wojciech Kilar.
