The upcoming concert on 30 July 2020 at 6:00 p.m. will be held at the Karol Szymanowski Museum in the villa “Atma” in Zakopane, organized as part of the “Karol from Atma. Music Unites” series, premiering the latest works of Polish composers. Admission to the concert is free.

The program will include works by Léo Delibes, Franciszek Doppler and Karol Szymanowski and four world premieres of works by Polish composers: Lovespell by Iwona KisielDuo by Paweł MykietynDodecanzon by Adam Sławiński, and Gismondo by Jarosław Siwiński. The latter was co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in the program, “Composing Commissions”, operated by the Institute of Music and Dance.

The concert will feature a trio of outstanding performers: flautists Łukasz Długosz and Agata Długosz and pianist Andrzej Jungiewicz. The evening will be hosted by Atma’s curator for programming, Dr. Hab. Małgorzata Janicka-Słysz, prof. AMK.

For security reasons, the event will take place in the garden in front of the Karol Szymanowski Museum. Keep distance, cover your mouth and nose, and disinfect hands at the entrance to the museum.
