The Świętokrzyska Philharmonic presents the 27th edition of the Świętokrzyskie Days of Music Festival from 3-12 April for, featuring ten concerts of different musical styles. Managed by Jacek Rogala since 2002, the festival aims to present Polish works not previously performed in Kielce.

In honor of Grażyna Bacewicz’s 110th birth and 50th death anniversaries this year, her Symphony No. 3 and Concerto for piano and orchestra will be performed by pianist dr hab. Cezary Sanecki, rector of the Academy of Music in Łódź, and the Świętokrzyska Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. The Festival also includes compositions by Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil, Eugeniusz Knapik, Jerzy Kornowicz, Paweł SzymańskiEwa Fabiańska-Jelińska, Weronika Ratusińska-Zamuszko, Marek Pasieczny, Łukasz Woś, Paweł Mykietyn, Jacek Urbaniak, and Krzysztof Owczynik. Works will be performed by flutists Agata Kielar-Długosz and Łukasz Długosz, pianist Adam Kosmieja, cellist Michał Pepol, the Six & Sax Duo, and the Ars Nova ensemble.

The program also includes a jazz evening and a family concert of 20th century music, including works by Witold Lutosławski or Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, in the form of interactive play.
