The Elżbieta Chojnacka Centre for Contemporary Harpsichord Music in Tarnowskie Góry will launch a new concert series with a concert “Music in dialogue” on July 11, 2021 at the Palace in Rybna. The concerts will feature works that take up the musical dialogue on several levels: instrumental (in terms of timbre, technical and expressive possibilities), between periods and musical styles, between tradition and modernity. The author of the artistic project is Dr. Aleksandra Gajecka-Antosiewicz

The program of the first concert will include premieres of works by Marcin Tadeusz Łukaszewski, Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska and Bronisław Kazimierz Przybylski. We will also hear compositions by Marcel Chyrzyński, Aleksander Tansman, Aleksander Lasoń, Henryk Mikołaj-Górecki, Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil, Kazimierz Serocki and Bohuslav Martin. The repertoire will be presented by: Łukasz Długosz – flute, Agata Kielar-Długosz – flute, Beata Warykiewicz-Siwy – violin, and Aleksandra Gajecka-Antosiewicz – harpsichord.

This event is co-financed by the Tarnowskie Góry Commune, the Palace in Rybna and the Gorczycki.pl Association.
