The 15th “Colors of Poland” Travelling Festival of the Łódź Philharmonic is held in a variety of locations in Poland throughout the summer months. It began in mid-June and will continue through the end of August 2014. On Sunday, July 13, the Lautari Ensemble will present a program featuring music from Volume 67 of Oskar Kolberg’s Collected Works. The original solo piano compositions of Polish folk dances will be heard in arrangements produced by the Lautari Ensemble, consisting of Michał Żak (wind instruments), Maciej Filipczuk (violin), Jacek Hałas (piano & accordion), and Marcin Pospieszalski (double bass). The concert at the Lutheran Church in the town of Zelów begins at 7 p.m.
