The “Polish Music Experience” is a project of the “Porta Musicae” Artistic Association that aims to popularize Polish composers and artists in Poland and abroad. Four concerts have been broadcast live on Sundays in November 2020 (8, 15, 22 and 29) at 6.00 p.m. CET. The project features famous Kraków musicians, winners of international competitions and festival organizers: Maciej Zimka and Wiesław Ochwat (8 November), Trio Legend (15 November), Bartosz Sałdan and Cracow Duo: Kalinowski & Szlezer (22 November), Gajusz Kęska and Messages Quartet (29 November).

Program of these concerts include works by Fryderyk Chopin, Juliusz Zarębski, Aleksander Tansman, Andrzej Panufnik, Zbigniew Bargielski, Michał Papara, Szymon Stanisław Strzelec, Maciej Zimka, Kamil Kruk, Marcel Chyrzyński, and Wojciech Widłak. The concerts also premiere Tomasz Opałka‘s Hype! and Andrzej Karałow‘s String Quartet Particulae lucis, which were created as part of the “Composing Commissions” program of the Institute of Music and Dance.

Live broadcasts of the concerts from the Marek Stachowski Chamber Hall at the Academy of Music in Kraków are held in cooperation with the Academy and the Karol Szymanowski Philharmonic in Kraków.
