The Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice and the MyWay Foundation have just completed recruiting students and graduates of Polish music academies through a prestigious new online competition to create MyOrchestra. This new orchestra will participate in the “Radzimir Dębski Hommage Krzysztof Penderecki” project. This project will include a residency and workshops in Lusławice as well as a series of concerts all over Poland, under the baton of Maestro Maciej Tworek and composer Radzimir Dębski.
The concerts will be held as follows:
- 17 May: Penderecki Center in Lusławice
- 19 May: NFM in Wrocław
- 20 May: ICE in Kraków
- 21 May: National Philharmonic in Warsaw
- 23 May: Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk
- 25 May: Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin
Tickets for the concerts, including a VIP package, can be purchased at goingapp.pl/hommage. Note: If the concerts cannot take place in May, the tour will be postponed to autumn 2020.
