On November 5-6, 2014, the FuturOpera project was presented at the Warsaw Chamber Opera. The project encompassed three chamber opera creations by contemporary composers of the young generation: Wasserstimmen by Dariusz Przybylski (a criminal opera based on a primaeval Inuit legend), Labirynt Orfeja [Orpheus’ Labyrinth] by Nikolet Burzyńska (a synthesis of selected threads from Greek and Slavic mythology) and Three Tall Tales of Doctor Monsieur Façade by Ryan Latimer (a kind of fairytale intermezzo). Things all three of these works have in common are their original sonic language and setting – at the edge of a dream, in an extraordinary, hypnotic trance.

The author and music director of this project was Jarosław Praszczałek, and the stage design, direction, and costumes were provided by Ewelina Grzechnik, Marta Grądzka. A trailer for the event can be seen at www.youtube.com
