On December 17, 2014 in the Studio Theatre in Warsaw, the World Premiere of a new piece for harpsichord by Paweł Szymański was heard. Harpsichordist Małgorzata Sarbak performed Counterpoint Dissociative Disorder (2014), which was commissioned for Sarbak by the LADO Cultural Association and funded by the Institute of Music and Dance with funds from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage collections, under the “Composing Commissions” initiative.
During the concert, Sarbak also performed Szymański’s Les Poiriers en Pologne ou une Suite de Pieces Sentimentales de Clavecin. She performed the world premiere of this piece as well in 2010.
