In February and March, the PMC is delighted to host three talented musical guests from Poland. Maria Sławek – violin, Grzegorz Mania – piano and Piotr Różański – piano are members of the Stowarzyszenie Polskich Muzyków Kameralistów (SPMK), or Polish Society of Chamber Musicians from Kraków)—an active group of excellent young musicians who perform and educate around the world. They will share their artistry with Los Angeles audiences in three FREE concerts at several venues around town.
Their February concerts will be focused on music by Polish-Jewish composers, and their March concert highlights composers of the ‘Młoda Polska’ [Young Poland] generation of composers as part of the Centenary of Independence being celebrated throughout 2018. Details are below.
