Attention all fans of Polish avant-garde music! The first video of the PMC Spring 2017 concert, which was performed by the terrific gnarwhallaby ensemble, has been uploaded to our YouTube channel. Entitled “Exploring the Avant-Garde”, the March 25 concert presented works by Witold Szalonek, Krzysztof Meyer, Hanna Kulenty, Bogusław Schaeffer, Tadeusz Wielecki, Zygmunt Krauze and Henryk Mikołaj Górecki. The entire event was expertly filmed by Adam Borecki, but the footage from three cameras must be edited first, and so far we have uploaded only Witold Szalonek’s wild Improvisationssonoristiques. In the coming weeks, the remaining works on this program will be shared with the world audience via YouTube.
