The Adam Mickiewicz Institute has announced an open call to apply for financial support related to participation in the Classical: NEXT 2017expositions held on May 17-20, 2017 in Rotterdam. The competition is designed for music managers, promoters, editors and artistic directors of Polish festivals to present their works in conferences, showcase concerts, network meetings, and much more.  The key topics at this year’s conference will be diversity and the arts in times of populism. The jury for this year’s showcase will include: COLLECTIF9 (Canada), Jerez Le Cam Quartet (Argentina/France/Belgium), Park Jiha(South Korea), Sven Helbig (Germany), Trip Trip Trip (Colombia), and Zwerm (Belgium).

Classical: NEXT intends to bring the diverse scenes of classical music together and offer them a forum to exchange and develop new ways for classical and contemporary music. Since the first edition in 2012, about 3,000 classical music professionals from more than 1,000 companies and from over 45 countries have engaged with Classical: NEXT and made it into the world’s most important classical music meeting. Last year’s cycle in Rotterdam featured 1,200 delegates representing 700 companies from 46 countries.
