Starting June 18, 2015 at the Theâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris, Polish soprano Aleksandra Kurzak will portray the title role in Gaetano Donizetti’s work Maria Stuarda for the first time. It a new co-production staged by Moshe Leiser and Patrice Caurier and directed by Daniele Callegari. Kurzak will perform as the Queen of Scotland alongside Carmen Giannatasio and Francesco Demuro.
