Using rare documentary footage and materials from a number of libraries around the world, Wiesław Dąbrowski’s Paderewski: The Man of Action, Success and Famepresents the history of the great Polish patriot, world-famous pianist and composer, statesman, diplomat, politician and philanthropist who was one of the transformative figures in the modern era. This documentarycontinues to garner accolades around the world. On September 9, it received the Silver Sword Award in the documentary films category at the Fifth International Festival of Historical and Military Films in Warsaw.
This film also competed at the Florida Documentary Film Festival in Miami, held Sept 11-13, and won in the Best Historical Documentary category. The Award Ceremony was held on September 13. Bravo!
