The 20th iteration of the Witold Lutosławski ‘Chain’ festival has started! From January 28 – February 12, 2023 concerts will take place at the Polish Radio’s Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio.

At the festival, there will be Polish premiers of works by Alexander Goehr, Wallingford Riegger, Per Nørgård, Sándor Szokolay, Frank Martin, Sándor Veress and Willem Pijper.

This year’s program has some amazing performances planned including two chamber concerts and three symphonic concerts. The chamber concerts will have musicians such as the V4 Quartet, Anna Radziejewska and Karol Kozłowski together with the Chain Ensemble orchestra and the symphonic concerts will feature the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Robertas Servenikas, Ewa Leszczyńska (soprano) and the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw conducted by Yaroslav Shemet and Sinfonia Varsovia conducted by Martijn Dendievel.
