Fryderyk Chopin University of Music is hosting the 18th Summer Music Evenings Festival, held Wednesdays in July and August, and the 4th Chopin Evenings on Okólnik Street, held Tuesdays in July and August.
Summer Music Evenings concerts features students, graduates, teachers and guests of the FCUM.
Chopin Evenings we will feature representatives of one of the nine academies of music in Poland each week. Besides Chopin, works by Szymanowski, Niewiadomski, Nowowiejski, Paderewski, Tansman, Moniuszko, Ogiński, Kania, Zarębski, Friedman, and Zawadzki will be performed. This festival is co-sponsored by the City of Warsaw.
The artistic director for both events is the rector of the FCUM, prof. dr hab. Klaudiusz Baran.
