On January 5, 2017, the XXV Laurels Gala of Skill and Competence will be held at the National Symphony Orchestra of Polish Radio (NOSPR) in Katowice. This year, Piotr Beczała will join the circle of winners and will perform under the baton of the excellent conductor Marc Piollet. The program includes Recitativo of Stefan and the famous Aria z kurantem from The Haunted Mannor by Stanislaw Moniuszko as well as pieces by Verdi, Puccini, Wagner, Dvorak.
Piotr Beczała is one of the most recognizable lyrical tenors of our times and a regular guest at leading world operas. The Polish artist is valued not only for the beauty of his voice, but also for his deep dedication to every character played by him. He has performed a rich concert repertoire with the most distinguished orchestras and conductors of the world.
