On January 18, a concert devoted to music by Krzysztof Penderecki will be held at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk. The program includes Penderecki’s chamber works, such as Three Miniatures for violin and piano, Capriccio per Siegfried Palm for cello, Duo concertante for violin and double bass and Sonata No. 2 for violin and piano. The compositions will be interpreted by the Academy’s lecturers and performers of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic: pianists Bogna Czerwińska-Szymula and Paweł Rydel, violinists Karolina Piątkowska-NowickaAnna Wandtke, Piotr Kwaśny and Andrzej Kacprzak, cellist Tadeusz Samerek, double bassist Sebastian Wypych and clarinetist Andrzej Wojciechowski.
