On October 2 as a part of Sacrum-Profanum Festival in Kraków, Marcin Stańczyk’s new work some drops…for trumpet and ensemble will have its world premiere, performed by Marco Blaauw on trumpet with Ensemble Musikfabrik under the baton of Diego Masson. During this performance, audience members will don blindfolds while the musicians saunter around the room, producing elementary sounds to create a spatial “illusion of being immersed in a world of nature.”
