On September 16, the new album by violinist Agata Szymczewska called “Modern Soul” was released. The album contains music by four Polish composers of the young generation—Mikołaj Majkusiak, Marcin Markowicz, Aleksander Nowak, and Ignacy Zalewski—all composed specially for this occasion. The initiator of the project, Agata Szymczewska invited to co-operation virtuosos such as: Marek Bracha, Maciej Frąckiewicz, Łukasz Kuropaczewski and Grzegorz Skrobiński. The artists recorded pieces under the composers’ supervision, what made the interpretations exceptional.

Publishing the album would not be possible without the help of WBK Bank and co-publisher of the National Audiovisual Institute (NINA). The album is published by the CD Accord Company and produced by Ludwig van Beethoven Association. The partner of the recording is The Krzysztof Penderecki European Center for Music and Polish Radio Program 2.
