Champion of Polish Romantic repertoire and former Paderewski Festival Gala pianist Jonathan Plowright will make a return visit to Łódź in Poland this November, where he will give a performance of the Paderewski Concerto for Piano with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Łódz, conducted by Paweł Przytocki. The concert is in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of Ignacy Jan Paderewski’s death this year. The program will also include: Ignacy Feliks Dobrzyński’s Overture to the opera ‘Monbar or the Freebooters’ op. 30 for symphony orchestra and Felix Mendelssohn’s Symphony in A minor ‘Scottish’, Op. 56.
