Where Art, Heritage, and Entertainment come Together

Polish Fest is America’s largest Polish festival and it continues to grow each year. Main attractions for 2015 include five stages of entertainment and much more. This year, the featured exhibit in the Cultural Village will be “The United States in Polish Historiography and Periodicals from 1764-1919.” Also look for “Polish Folk Arts: A Living Tradition” – a newly created exhibit with hands-on workshops. Polish Day in LA

June 13, 2015 marks the 2nd annual Polish Day in LA, hosted by the 2nd Saturday Art Walk Street Fair on Linden Ave/Broadway in Long Beach. This event is promoted in Los Angeles County as a Polish-American Summer Festival to enjoy and be educated about California’s diverse cultural background.

Many attractions will be offered for guests, both Polish and American alike. Among them will be a wide menu of Polish traditional dishes, folk dance performances, dance classes, craft stations for kids and adults, a fashion show of folk and contemporary fashions, art vendors and craft vendors, a special art exhibition by Polish artists inside the Hellada Gallery—whose owner, Marek Dzida, is the dedicated founder of this event—and an exhibit of Polish American sport figures from colleges around California.
