The 7th International Tadeusz Wroński Violin Competition concluded on September 28 in Warsaw, after a week of outstanding performances streamed live on The Violin Channel. Open to violinists of all nationalities born after April 1, 1990, the competition brought together a remarkable group of young musicians from across the globe.
Following three rigorous rounds, the jury—chaired by Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, with Krzysztof Jakowicz (Honorary Chairman), Sławomir Tomasik (Vice-chairman), Jakub Jakowicz (Secretary), and an international panel of distinguished artists—announced the prize-winners:
- 1st Prize (100,000 PLN): Tianyou Liu – China
- 2nd Prize (70,000 PLN): Gaja Wilewska – Poland
- 3rd Prize (50,000 PLN): Marcelina Rucińska – Poland
- 4th Prize (20,000 PLN): Maya Alexandra Kasprzak – Germany
- 5th Prize (10,000 PLN): Hanna Pozorska – Poland
Special Mentions (2,000 PLN each)
- 1st Special Mentions: Kazushi Omoto (Japan), Kimura Wakana (Japan)
- 2nd Special Mentions: Sofia Wadzicka (Poland), Emilia Linka (Poland)
- 3rd Special Mentions: Wiktoria Białostocka (Poland), Mana Ishizuka (Japan), Doris Mose (Poland)
- 4th Special Mention: Paulina Tomczuk (Poland).

This year’s competition awarded a total prize pool of €65,000, reaffirming its place as one of Europe’s most important platforms for emerging violinists.
