The deadline for applications is October 1, 2025.
This year’s competition focuses on chamber works for ensembles of three to five instruments, as specified in the official rules, without conductor.
The competition is open to composers of all nationalities and ages. Eligible works may have been previously performed or awarded in other competitions, and have a required duration of 10–16 minutes. The entry fee is 260 PLN.
An international jury of the following recognized composers will evaluate all submissions:
- Paweł Łukaszewski (Poland)
- Paul Patterson (United Kingdom)
- Dariusz Przybylski (Poland)
The winners will be announced no later than October 13, 2025. Cash prizes will be revealed at a later date, and the youngest laureate will receive a Special Prize—publication with Polish Music Publishers (Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne).
The Prizewinners’ Concert, organized in collaboration with Polish Radio Program 2 [Polskie Radio Dwójka], will take place on December 6, 2025, at the W. Szpilman Polish Radio Concert Studio in Warsaw. Awarded works will be performed by the acclaimed Hashtag Ensemble.
The competition is generously supported by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, with funding from the Culture Promotion Fund as part of the “Music” program, administered by the National Institute of Music and Dance (NIMiT).
