On Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 7 PM, the Colburn School of Music will host Recovered Voices: The Music of Poland, a concert dedicated to the works of Mieczysław Weinberg.

This program, performed by the RVC Ensemble under the baton of Aleksandra Melaniuk, Alena Hove on Violin and Martha Chan on Flute, features three of Weinberg’s works:

  • Concertino for Violin and String Orchestra
  • Flute Concerto No. 1
  • Chamber Symphony No. 1 

For a complete evening experience, concertgoers can opt for a Dinner and Concert ticket, which includes a four-course Polish-themed meal at the Colburn Café before the performance.

This concert is generously supported by Evelyn and Stephen Block, Raulee Marcus, and Abby Sher.
