The 18th International Kazimierz Serocki Composition Competition is now open to composers of all ages and nationalities. This year the subject for the competition is works for a chamber ensemble composed of 3 to 5 of the instruments listed in the rules of the Competition, without the participation of a conductor. Entries are limited to a duration of 10-16 minutes, and any project including those already performed publicly can be submitted. The deadline for submission is October 7, 2023.

The Competition is held under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Polish Composers’ Union. It is co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund as part of the ‘Music’ program implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
