Recognized jazz musicians and all Polish participants of the 16th Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Poznań took part in this year’s jubilee edition of the Emanacje Music Festival. This year’s Wieniawski Cycle began on the 9th of July at 7:00 p.m. with a recital by Judyta Kluza-Sporniak (violin) and Grzegorz Skrobiński (piano). Additionally, Pianohooligan a.k.a Piotr Orzechowski performed at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Center concert hall in Lusławice on July 10th at 7.00 p.m.
The Wieniawski Cycle is an integral part of the 10th Festival. The event’s partner is Henryk Wieniawski Society in Poznań.
For years, improvised music has been an important part of the Emanacje Festival. This year’s edition was no different. Pianohooligan performed his 24 Preludes & Improvisations cycle and Experiment – Penderecki.
