The Kosciuszko Foundation in New York City will conduct an Online Piano Academy February 26-28, 2021. Open to all aspiring artists under the age of 30, the academy’s students will have an opportunity to work with distinguished pianists, as well as laureates and jurors of international piano competitions, including Piotr Paleczny, Krzysztof Jabłoński, Ewa Pobłocka, and Alexander Kobrin. Application deadline is February 12, midnight Eastern Time.
Each of the selected twelve Academy students will receive four Zoom lessons (one with each of the participating professors), concentrating on the art of interpreting a variety of Chopin’s piano works. The two-day Academy will conclude with students’ performance in the Showcase Concert available on the Kosciuszko Foundation’s YouTube channel. Academy auditors will receive access to all master classes, presentations, and events and also receive a certificate of participation.
