On May 19, Cameristi della Scala and Maestro Wilson Hermanto will perform the world premieres of Sinfonietta for flute and strings by Krzysztof Penderecki and Flute Concerto No. 2 by Michael Nyman at the famous Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy.
Cameristi della Scala is the only chamber orchestra created by the musicians of La Scala, performing as part of a permanent concert series on the scene of the famous Italian theater. Wilson Hermanto and Cameristi della Scala have also performed in France, Germany and Switzerland already this season. Hermanto also returned as a guest conductor to the Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg and the Symphony Orchestra of the Philharmonic in Szczecin, for the first time he performed with the National Symphony Orchestra of Chile and the Symphony Orchestra in Bari. The American-Indonesian conductor will also make its debut at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, as part of the 2019 Warsaw Autumn Festival, and at the Enescu Festival in Bucharest.
