The Jerzy Semkow Polish ‘Sinfonia Iuventus’ Orchestra invites you to the Royal Castle in Warsaw on May 24, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. The musicians will perform under the baton of Anna Duczmal-Mróz, who was hailed as a “sensational conductor” by the German press.

The program of the concert will be composed of 20th-century Polish music as well as works by Gustav Holst and Dmitry Shostakovich. Sinfonia Iuventus will perform the splendid four-part Serenade, Op. 2 for string orchestra by Mieczysław Karłowicz and Orawa by Wojciech Kilar, a composer’s tribute to the beloved mountains and musical folklore of Podhale.
