Three concerts in tribute to Elżbieta Chojnacka will be held at the Palace in Rybna, featuring harpsichordists Małgorzata Klajn and Aleksandra Gajecka-Antosiewicz.

On 8 July, works by François-Bernard Mâche, Ton Bruynèl, Jacob Ter Veldhuis and Mauricio Kagel will be performed. The harpsichord will be contrasted with the sounds of human speech, metal, African languages, and nature. Małgorzata Klajn, graduate of the Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of prof. Marek Toporowski, will perform with the assistance of sound engineer Krzysztof Sztekmiler. The concert will be led by Piotr Oczkowski.

On 12 July, Aleksandra Gajecka-Antosiewicz will utilize various composing techniques to reflect the sensitivity, imagination and intellect of a man of the 20th and 21st centuries, and will perform “for the harpsichordist who speaks” and “for the harpsichordist who does not speak and does not play.” Also included in the program are Claude Debussy, John Cage, and Sergio Ortega, as well as two premieres: Suite Op. 37 bis for harpsichord by Tomasz Kamieniak and Astartezma for harpsichord and tape by Aleksandra Gajecka-Antosiewicz.

On 14 July, the performers will include participants of the Harpsichord Master Classes.

The concerts are co-sponsored from funds of the Tarnowskie Góry Commune and the Palace in Rybna.
