The 52nd International Organ Festival, one of the oldest music events in Poland, will take place in Koszalin and Central Pomerania until 31 August. The festival includes 30 organ, chamber, choral, and oratory concerts featuring artists from all over Europe.
The concerts will feature Polish organists, such as Roman Perucki and Marek Toporowski, as well as guests from Russia: Daniel Zaretsky and Taras Baginets. They will perform compositions by Grażyna Bacewicz, Wojciech Kilar, Juliusz Łucciuka, Feliks Nowowiejski, Marek Raczyński, Marian Sawa and Józef Świder.
Krakowskie Trio Stroikowe, Canzona (female choir ensemble of the Koszalin University of Technology), Pomerania Cantat (Choir of the Children’s Choir Academy in Koszalin), and Koszalin Philharmonic Orchestra will take part in the final concert. The program includes compositions by Krzesimir Dębski, who will perform as a conductor and violinist.
