Distinguished flute virtuosos Łukasz Długosz and Agata Kielar-Długosz will be the soloists for the Warmia-Mazury Philharmonic Orchestra’s February 16 concert in Olsztyn. The evening will begin with Paweł Łukaszewski’s Wing Concerto for two flutes and chamber orchestra, a work commissioned by the Institute of Music and Dance and world premiered in 2017. The program will continue with Sinfonia concertante for two flutes by François Devienne (1759-1803). Tchaikovsky’s Third Symphony Op. 29 led by maestro Piotr Sułkowski will close the evening.
