On the album we will find two song cycles by Dariusz Przybylski, to words by Halina Poświatowska and Hermann Broch, recorded by outstanding musicians of young generation: Iwona Sobotka—a.o. Grand Prix winner of the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition of Belgium in 2004 and Łukasz Hajduczenia—recipient of numerous prizes at international competitions, including Moscow, Nowy Sącz, Duszniki-Zdrój and Katowice.
Two singers recorded the vocal works with an excellent interpreter of new music—Daniel Brylewski, who is alumnus of the International Ensemble Modern Academy in Frankfurt am Main and has performed at many festivals such as Warsaw Autumn (Warszawska Jesien) and Berlin’s UltraShall with the European Workshop for Contemporary Music directed by Ruediger Bohn.
Daniel Brylewski recorded also three piano solo pieces by Dariusz Przybylski, among others π [pi] Klavierstück I, which is dedicated to him.
