Maestro Grzegorz Nowak continues his busy concert schedule this winter. On February 6-7 Nowak presented three concerts at the Festival La Folle Journée in Nantes, France with Sinfonia Varsovia, conducting works by Field, Knecht, Stamitz, Gang Chen/He Zhan Hao, and Casals, as well as Noskowski’s TheSteppes.
On February 18 Nowak leads the Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia in Madrid with the program of Ravel and Mussorgsky, and Brahms’s First Piano Concerto with American pianist Eric Liu, a finalist in the 2015 Chopin Competition in Warsaw. In early March 2016 Maestro Nowak will be in Cagliari, Italy to conduct and all-Beethoven program with Polish pianist Krystian Zimerman as soloist.
