Presented in cooperation with the Polish Consul General of Los Angeles, Motion Trio performed on November 1 to a full house crowd at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). The group is currently in the U.S. promoting their “Polonium” album of music by 20th and 21st century Polish composers, and they will also perform in Seattle and Paso Robles, California.

Motion Trio is a Polish accordion trio founded in 1996 by Janusz Wojtarowicz and rounded out by Paweł Baranek and Marcin Gałażyn. The group has worked with such artists as Michael Nyman, Bobby McFerrin, and Michał Urbaniak, and have been awarded such prizes as the grand prix 4th Edition of the Krzysztof Penderecki International Contemporary Chamber Music Competition.
