La Folle Journée is an international festival held annually since 1995, founded by René Martin – organizer of numerous festivals and concerts of classical music around the world. He is also the founder of the Centre de Realisations et d’Etudes Artistiques à Nantes (C.R.E.A.). The La Folle Journée Festival presents classical music at the highest possible artistic level to a diverse audience and has been successfully held for many years in France, Spain, Japan and Brazil. Its popularity has earned a permanent place in the cultural life of these countries’ communities.

Entitled “Passions of the Heart and Soul,” this year’s edition of the La Folle Journée Festival will showcase a wide-ranging music repertoire, reflecting artistic passions of composers and performers. Its programs will range from Bach, through Romantic music, all the way to experiments with electronic music. Short concerts take place from morning to night in many halls simultaneously. The La Folle Journée Festival is organized in Poland by the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra, C.R.E.A. and by the Ogrody Muzyczne Foundation. The festival will be held in Warsaw for the sixth time on September 25-27, 2015 in the Grand Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw.
