On June 10, the Kosciuszko Foundation will host Eart’Acte, an NY-based ensemble incorporating music from contemporary to classical repertoire. Comprised of Hector Martinez Jr. – pianist/composer, Glen Flax – guitarist/composer and Stephen C. Josephs – flutist/composer, the group has performed from has performed from Brussels to Manila and New York City to San Francisco. Their Kosciuszko Foundation program will include works by Polish composers Michał Kleofas Ogiński, Alexander Tansman and Frédéric Chopin, as well as compositions by members of the ensemble that were inspired by Poland.
