The first Polish jazz musician to receive a Grammy Award, pianist Włodek Pawlik, and his Trio will be featured at New York’s venerable Blue Note Jazz Club on Monday, May 28. The Włodek Pawlik Trio includes bassist Paweł Panta and Cezary Konrad on drums. Another Grammy Award winner, trumpeter Randy Brecker, will also appear as special guest that evening. It was Pawlik’s and Brecker’s album, A Night in Calisia, recorded with the Kalisz Philharmonic Orchestra, that brought both artists this most cherished of musical awards in 2014.

The concert is presented by the Kosciuszko Foundation in New York City and INGLOT Cosmetics. More information, including tickets for the event can be found at: www.thekf.org.
