An important element of the mission of the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra is the restitution of forgotten masterpieces of Polish music in concert practice. A concert held on July 30, 2022 at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio in Warsaw was an important step in doing this. Conducted by Antoni Wit, this concert brought Zygmunt Noskowski back to his rightful place among outstanding Polish and European composers of the second half of the 19th century.

At the beginning of the 21st century, the music of Noskowski slowly began to return to concert stages, and the first editions of his previously unpublished works, such as String Quartets No. 2 and 3, and Symphony No. 2, also have appeared on today’s stages.
