In honor of International Children’s Book Day (April 2), PWM Edition has published another book for young music lovers: Ignacy Jan and His Plan.
Written by Katarzyna Huzar-Czub and illustrated by Zosia Dzierżawska, this book introduces Ignacy Jan Paderewski as a child, when he decided to become a famous musician. It wasn’t for fame or money, but to implement a plan to help Poland, which at that time was not on the world map.
Children will become friends with Ignacy and learn that faith in their own abilities is a real treasure. As Ignacy said, “When you want – you can.”
