The 3rd Rzeszów Musical Autumn Festival was held from 5-27 October and featured six chamber concerts. The festival’s repertoire featured rarely performed music of Polish artists, including Władysław Żeleński and Zygmunt Noskowski, as well as chamber music of the creator of Polish national opera in the Year of Stanisław Moniuszko.

The concerts featured violinist Kaja Danczowska with her daughter Justyna, Krzysztof Książek (piano), Jakub Jakowicz (violin), Katarzyna Budnik (viola), and Bartosz Koziak (cello). Moniuszko’s songs were performed during a vocal recital by mezzo-soprano Hanna Hipp. In addition, Ravel Piano Duo, Messages Quartet, as well as the Extra Sounds Ensemble chamber orchestra with soloists Alicja Śmietana and Maria Sławek performed.

The events took place in the concert hall of the Faculty of Music at the University of Rzeszów (83 Dąbrowskiego St.) and the Dominican Church of St. Hyacinth (15 Dominikańska St.).
