Collegium Musicale, an Estonian chamber choir, performed premieres of two works by Polish composer Paweł Łukaszewski at the Arvo Pärt Centre in Estonia and EUFONIE Festival in Warsaw in November 2019. On November 1, Collegium Musicale performed at the Arvo Pärt Centre with a program of both Estonian and Polish music, including works by Arvo Pärt, Erkki-Sven Tüür, and Paweł Łukaszewski’s two world premieres: Corpus Christi responsoria and Popule meus. The program was again performed at the International Music Festival of Central-Eastern Europe EUFONIE in Warsaw on November 2-3.

The project was organized in collaboration with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute as part of the Polska Music program and POLSKA 100, the international cultural program celebrating the centenary of Poland regaining independence, and financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland as part of the multi-annual program NIEPODLEGŁA 2017–2022.
