On November 6, the Ensemble KNM Berlin will feature works by Wojtek Blecharz—Counter-Earth for clarinetist and objects (2015), blacksnowfalls for timpano solo (2014), and The Map of Tenderness for cello solo (2012)—during their first portrait concert at Kunstquartier Bethanien in Berlin, Germany. Entitled “Pol(s)ka & Kontext mit Wojtek Blecharz,” the program is the first half of a two-part concert.

Then on November 8, KNM Berlin will present “Pol(s)ka & Kontext mit Jagoda Szmytka” at Kunstquartier Bethanien. Also the first half of a two-part concert, the program will include the following works by young Polish composer Jagoda Szmytka: empty music for audiovisual contextual composition (2014), sky-me, type-me for four voices amplified with megaphones (2011), f* for music for E-guitar and amplified cello (2012), and for travellers like angels or vampires for amplified ensemble (2012).
