The Société Historique et Littéraire Polonaise, also known as the Polish Library in Paris, will host this year’s Fortieth Annual “Conference of Museums, Archives and Polish Libraries Abroad.” As in past years, the gathering will bring scholars and representatives of Polish cultural institutions from all across the world. Scheduled to take place at the Polish Library’s elegant headquarters on Quai d’Orléans in the heart of Paris from August 28 – September 1, this year’s theme is “On the Road to Independence: Echoes of the Efforts preserved in State Archives, Documents and Publications and in Polish Communities Abroad” and a number of lectures and accompanying events are planned.

Scholars from interested institutions are invited to send their inquiries and titles of proposed presentations to Mr. Witold Zahorski, Deputy Director of the Polish Library in Paris. Submission deadline: April 20, 2018.
